Metallica’s James Hetfield is unstoppable even after a stage accident

James Hetfield is officially the toughest rocker in the world. He didn’t stop playing even after falling into an open pit on the stage! He fell but didn’t falter. The band’s Amsterdam gig on Monday night will be remembered not just because of a great atmosphere.

Not only he continued to play, but he didn’t lose his wit. “Is everybody ok? Alright. Yes, I’m ok. My ego, not so much. But I’m fine. Hurt my feelings a little bit, but I can tell you about it, now it’s done.” told James to his big audience in Ziggo Dome, and continued – with another riff, of course. Show must go on.

Admittedly, this is not Hetfield’s first stage accident. Metal musicians like to play with fire; so did James in 1992, when he got burned on stage.

Back to the present. If everything is truly alright, as we hope, the guys will tour France and Germany in September, and spend October and November rocking Britain and Belgium. As of February 2018, they will go South, to Portugal, Spain, and Italy, and then again to Germany, Austria, and so on. Most of the concerts are, of course, sold out, but if you’re lucky, you can still get premium seats in some of the venues.
