Happy b-day, Samuel L. Jackson!

On this day, 69 years ago, the famous actor Samuel L. Jackson was born.

He’s a very diligent guy. The list of his movies and TV shows is remarkable.

One of the most notable film roles in his four-decade long career was in Quentin Tarantino’s cult film Pulp Fiction from 1994. We’re surprised they don’t include this scene in general knowledge tests.

We would be even more surprised if someone couldn’t remember Samuel’s interpretation of the Ezekiel’s words from the Bible, as well as the scene from the restaurant.

From an angry assassin who is far too easy on the trigger to the man who is willing to show some mercy and give someone a chance to get away while going through some serious self-struggles (“I’m trying real hard to be The Shepherd”, he said) – all incredibly well played.

If the role of Jules Winnfield were the only one that Samuel L. Jackson has ever played, it would still be enough for people of all ages to love and respect him.

“People love it so much. Every year I get millions of new fans because all of these kids come of age and they think it’s the coolest thing they’ve ever seen,” said Samuel L. Jackson about his role in Pulp Fiction.

But as we know, it wasn’t his only role, fortunately. Even though he has shown really brilliant acting abilities and an astonishing charisma, it’s great that we could see so much more of him.
